Heat oil in heavy large pot or frying pan over medium-high heat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Working in batches, sear the shanks until brown on all sides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add Hester Creek wine, and beef stock. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add bay leaves, rosemary and thyme. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Return shanks to pot, pressing down to submerge, add more stock of water if needed.
