These days, we think of a lobster as a special occasion treat and often serve it as a celebratory meal.<\/p>\n<p>And speaking of celebrations; what&#8217;s more celebratory than a bottle of bubbly to accompany festivities? Stylish and chic, fizz has been associated with fun since mid-17th century when London society discovered its \u201cuplifting\u201d effect. Crisp acidity and citrus notes of lemon drops and lemon zest, match lobster with buttery sauce perfectly.<\/p>\n<p>Still whites with crisp acidity also perfectly match the richness and delicacy of succulent lobster flesh. Tavel\u2019s ros\u00e9 from the south of France is also a great choice.<\/p>\n<p>Delicate Vinho Verde from northern Portugal comes with a touch of fizz, a true delight with a grilled lobster, as well as its Spanish counterpart in Rias Baixas and Rioja. Aromatic, classy and elegant, vinified with 100% Riesling, it delivers aromas of apples, peaches and apricots with subtle floral notes of lilac. Fine and persistent mousse dances on the tongue in a crisp, smooth, lingering finish. Dry in style, it makes a great companion to a succulent lobster. Delightful!! It displays abundant aromas and flavours of lemon drops, lime and mouth-puckering green apple. Light in body with crisp acidity and a touch of fizz, a perfect choice for a hot summer day.
