This newest wine was developed by Bob Oatley after he retired;\u00a0 he was restless at home and his wife told him to get back to work!<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nataliemaclean.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/2014-01-2016-01.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-17625\" alt=\"2014 01 2016 01\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nataliemaclean.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/2014-01-2016-01.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"574\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.nataliemaclean.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/2014-01-2016-01.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.nataliemaclean.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/2014-01-2016-01-160x183.jpg 160w, https:\/\/www.nataliemaclean.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/2014-01-2016-01-350x401.jpg 350w, https:\/\/www.nataliemaclean.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/2014-01-2016-01-125x143.jpg 125w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a>My favourite wine from yesterday was the Yarra Valley Pinot Noir 2012, 13.5%.\u00a0 This Pinot from the signature series shows strawberry and cherry on the nose, along with earthy and slightly spicy notes.\u00a0 On the palate, it is quite fleshy, lightly savoury, with milk chocolate flavours, subtle oak and light tannins.\u00a0 A long chocolate finish makes you smile as you pour another glass.
