Lohr Seven Oaks Cabernet Sauvignon\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nataliemaclean.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/J.-Lohr-Seven-Oaks-Cabernet-Sauvignon.jpg\" width=\"69\" height=\"249\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>2 chicken breasts (400 g\/14 oz)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marinade Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Juice of one medium lemon (about 3 tbsp\/45 mL)<br \/>\nZest of one medium lemon (about 1 tsp\/5 mL)<br \/>\n\u00bd cup (125 mL) fresh parsley, chopped<br \/>\n1 tbsp (15 mL) extra virgin olive oil<br \/>\n1 tsp (5 mL) dried oregano<br \/>\n2 cloves garlic, minced<br \/>\n1 green onion, chopped<br \/>\n\u00bc tsp (1 mL) salt<br \/>\n\u00bc tsp (1 mL) pepper<\/p>\n<p>Please note: this marinade is also wonderful with pork, beef or fish.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Put all marinade ingredients in a bowl and mix well.<\/p>\n<p>Remove all visible fat from chicken and cut into one inch cubes.<\/p>\n<p>Add chicken to marinade and stir until combined.<\/p>\n<p>Let chicken marinate for at least 15 minutes or more.\u00a0 Another option is to marinate the chicken overnight in the fridge.<\/p>\n<p>When ready to cook, turn grill to medium heat.\u00a0 Put chicken on skewers.\u00a0 Spray grill with non-stick cooking spray.\u00a0 Grill chicken for about 6 minutes total or until done (turn kebabs about every 2 minutes while cooking).<\/p>\n<p>Nutritional Information Per Skewer (makes 4 skewers):\u00a0 137 calories, 4 g fat, 1 g saturated fat, 2 g carbohydrates, .5 g sugars, .5 g fibre, 23 g protein, 195 mg sodium<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lizpearson.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-14292\" alt=\"Liz Pearson\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nataliemaclean.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/Liz-Pearson.jpg\" width=\"176\" height=\"250\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.nataliemaclean.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/Liz-Pearson.jpg 176w, https:\/\/www.nataliemaclean.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/Liz-Pearson-160x227.jpg 160w, https:\/\/www.nataliemaclean.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/Liz-Pearson-125x177.jpg 125w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 176px) 100vw, 176px\" \/><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lizpearson.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Liz Pearson<\/strong><\/a> is a Registered Dietitian with a passion for peanut butter sandwiches and an undying love for chocolate!
