The wine is named for King Arthur's legend: whomever could pull the sword Excalibur from the stone under the Avalon Tree, would rule as king. Also named for Australia's great gumtrees. A rich and juicy red wine blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon with the balance in Tempranillo. Vibrant with bright cassis, savoury herbs and dark spice flavours on the palate. Pair with roast boar.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: are roast beef, grilled T-bone steak, grilled sausages on the barbeque.

Zonte's Footstep Blackberry Patch 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo red wine blend is fragrant on the nose with dark cherry, cedar spice and dried sweet tobacco leaf aromas on the nose. Rich and smooth with ripe berry, mocha, licorice spice and roasted nut flavours on the palate. Pair with grilled steak, bison burgers and game sausages. Enjoy now and over the next 10 years. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
