The Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT was introduced in 1996. Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT is the title of the Trentino-Alto Adige region in the far northern reaches of Alpine Italy. Tiefenbrunner is a light-bodied Pinot Grigio from there. This is your green salad or grilled seafood wine with crisp lemon, apple and pear flavours on the palate finishing with a crisp, fresh minerality.

Pinot Grigio food pairings: pan-fried panfish, crab cakes, seafood alfredo.

Reviews and Ratings

Jenny Ratcliffe-Wright CWM rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

I loved the weight of this wine in the mouth. Much more serious than some of the bland Pinot Grigio out there. Full flavoured with white pepper and a delicious mineral length. Tons of apricots, white peach, fresh pear, pine nuts and macadamias. Try with pub style fish and chips @wrightwineblog
Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

This wine is an extra dry Pinot Grigio, with lemon and herbal grass in the aromas and on the palate. A very refreshing finish will pair well with fresh fish, seafood and accompanying rich cream sauces.
A zesty Pinot Grigio from the Vigneti Delle Dolomiti, Alto Adige-Trentino wine region. Ripe pear and flinty aromas on the nose, bone-dry, medium-bodied with ripe pear, white floral and flinty mineral flavours on the palate accompanied by incredible acidity for food. Pair with grilled veal chops. - Community Wine Reviews
