Reviews and Ratings

Alex & Priya - Certified Sommelier reviewed this wine as follows:

Alex: The Vintners Weiss is a fun summer sipper, taking the lean drinkability and zest of Riesling and combining it with the body and firework aromatics of Chardonnay Musqué. The result is an aroma of tangerine, sweet gardenia and grape juice, made medium-sweet on the palate and with a gentle finish. More Priya's cup of tea but I've no trouble drinking a glass. 88pts

Priya: I really liked this one. It has a lovely level of sweetness for my still-evolving palate. Fresh and bright with a lot of floral notes to smell and to taste. Like drinking a bouquet of spring flowers--who wouldn't want a glass of that? 90pts

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
