Reviews and Ratings

Cherie Cole rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

This is one of my favourite Chardonnay's of all-time. I visited the Closson Chase Winery on July 23, 2017 and had a wonderful tasting experience. The aromas exude baked apple, caramel and hazelnut. It is full-bodied with an elegant finish. The flavours consist of ripe apple, vanilla and caramel. Pair with roasted poultry dishes.
Alex & Priya - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Alex: The 2014 South Clos Vineyard Chardonnay is just impossibly smooth, and incredibly drinkable. It makes me think of an easy ride on a cruiser motorcycle. Orchard yellow apple, fresh cream and butterscotch are the aromatic hallmarks of this wine, but where it really impresses is on the palate. So gentle and airy is the texture, like finely woven silk. There is plenty of oak indeed, but plenty of ripe fruit as well - all in fine harmony with great depth and an uncanny easy-drinkability. 92pts

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
