Toasty oak on the nose wraps around fleshy ripe black cherries. Full-bodied, mouth-watering juicy and smooth with a great finish. New Zealand Pinot Noir offers that unique combination of fleshy fruit and zingy juiciness. Oyster Bay is part of the Delegat wine portfolio and a solid producer of good value wines including this New Zealand Pinot Noir. Smoky oak and black cherry notes with some dark spice on the finish. Terrific with a wide range of dishes. Yum!

At a recent wine show dedicated to New Zealand wines, this Pinot Noir really stood out to me. I loved the great aromatics and vibrant flavours of cherries and smoky wood. I get asked often my opinion if the most food friendly red wine, and I always say Pinot Noir. This Pinot from Oyster Bay is particularly delicious

A beautifully aromatic and flavourful expression of New Zealand Pinot Noir. Cherry, wood smoke, flint, and vanilla on the nose and repeat on the palate. A very expressive wine that delivers way above its price point. For under $20 you can not find better value Pinot Noir anywhere. Highly recommend trying this wine and enjoying over the holiday season and the next two to three years. Vintages release December 6, 2014. Tasted November 3, 2014. 91 points. This mouth-watering Marlborough Pinot Noir has a nose of vanilla, tart red cherries and a hint of baking spice/cinnamon, repeated on the delicious palate with milk chocolate and subtle earthy notes. A very smooth balanced mouthfeel and lingering spicy cherry finish.
A versatile dry red that is a must for the upcoming holiday season.

Medium ruby colours with intense aromatics. Juicy red berries, strawberry, cherry, plum, Swedish berry candy, toast, vanilla, earthiness, black pepper, violets, cake spice, smoked meat. One whiff of this wine and you'll find yourself on the cover of a Harlequin romance novel, in the guise of a dark-haired swashbuckler, with his shirt ripped.Musky, smokey, but with ripe fruits as well.Chewy and tasty,meaty,if not overly complex.A very good value for the price.

This wine smells pretty fricken awesome. Those aromas took me hook, line and sinker. Cherry, dried (sweeten) cranberry, vanilla, sweet sugar shack smoke and hints of wet stone minerality. Light+ tannins, light+ body, smooth luscious finish. Pair with Mexican Mole.

Oyster Bay Marlborough Pinot Noir is elegant cool climate pinot noir at its best. Fragrant, soft and fl avourful with aromas of ripe cherries and sweet fruit tannins that provide structure and length.
