Reviews and Ratings

David Skinner rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Made only in rare vintage years (the last being 1998) and combined with meticulous care to capture these sparse opportunities, this wine is rich with tropical fruit. Grilled pineapple, papaya, lemon curd and toasted almonds on the nose. A rich feeling wine with solid acidity accenting flavors of apple and pear to compliment the tropical fruit tastes. Lengthy finish and some minerality balanced with oak highlights.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
