Love it! Full-bodied and loaded with flavour yet vibrant and nimble and never heavy. Black fruit and spice with such a velvet smooth palate. Very complex and balanced. Perfect for grilled meats.

Zinfandel food pairings: beef.

Reviews and Ratings

Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Raspberry, vanilla, raisin and green pepper on the nose with cherry, raspberry and vanilla flavors.
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Zinfandel lovers take note! This medium-bodied red wine is pure Zin heaven with loads of strawberry, cherry, plum, smoke and pepper aromas and flavours. A velvet mouthfeel with just enough cleansing acidity to fruit ratio. A long warm juicy cherry finish to satisfy the most ardent Zinfandel lover. Pair with saucy grilled beef ribs...and a wet nap.
TAsted: August 2015
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A tasty Zin that will be sure to please you and the fortunate folks that get to enjoy this with you. Full of the tangy fruit you'd expect, yet all done with exceptional balance, which for me, is paramount, especially with a robust Zinfandel. Tasted October 2014. 90 points. Matt Steeves @QuercusVino
Terry Jeans - Certified S rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This juicy, fruit forward Zinfandel is full-bodied and delicious. There are notes of raspberry, blackberry, vanilla and alcohol. Nice acidity and tannins and silky mouth fell make this a very accessible wine that wants to be discovered.
Kristin Perrin rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Jammy raspberry and blackberry, vanilla, woody spice nose
Confirmed on the palate, bourbon-y, cedar spice
Full bodied (like a warm hug inside of your mouth). Soft acidity and tannins (yet firm).
Lingering sweet spicy finish.

I'll take my filet mignon medium rare please.
Valérie Dufour - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Very pleasant nose of cocoa and crushed blueberries.
If you like big muscles, this is a wine for you. Pretty high in alcohol. Full of fruit. Full of everything. A bomb flavour. What is it not is subtle, but it is a fun wine.
Tarang rated this wine as 75/100 with the following review:

Peppery
Jane LeFresne reviewed this wine as follows:

Aromas of black and green pepper, cherry, raspberry and raisin.

Great acidity with flavours of cherry and raspberry. This would be great with a hearty stew on a sunday evening or grilled steak in the summer.
Although this robust Californian Zinfandel clocks in at 14.9% alcohol, you'd never know it. It's elegant, balanced and long on flavour. The barrel aging regime included only 14% new French and American oak. Finishes with dark fruit. - Community Wine Reviews
