A stunning BC red wine blend 51% Merlot, 21% Cabernet Franc, 19% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Malbec and 3% Syrah grapes. The vines are planted in the Okanagan Falls, Golden Mile Bench and South Cawston vineyards and the wine is matured in French oak barrels for two years. Aromas of dark fruit and smoke. This has a long cellar life ahead of it. Pair with a rare steak and decant 2 hours.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Stunning! This is a proprietary blend of 51% Merlot, 21% Cabernet Franc, 19% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Malbec, and 3% Syrah from vineyards in Okanagan Falls, Golden Mile Bench and South Cawston. The blend is aged in French oak for 24 months (35% in new barrels). Aromas on the nose include ripe currant and plum, with hints of leather, evergreen, tobacco and a hint of black pepper. Full bodied and smooth on the palate with vibrant balancing acidity. Fruit on the palate is bright and ripe, with more warm spicy herbal tones and a hint of minerality. Enjoy with robust mushroom dishes or a grilled steak.
The 2016 Summit is a blend of our top blocks from estate grown fruit in the Okanagan and Similkameen Valleys. These blocks are cropped at 3 tons an acre or less. They are handpicked, hand sorted and patiently aged in our cellar in a concentrated effort to capture these exceptional terroirs.
A wine with intense aromas and flavours of cassis, black and red fruits, fresh tobacco, cedar and distinct minerality.
