Reviews and Ratings

Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

My score is a reflection of the quality for value. I have been drinking a few Tempranillo's this summer - they are the perfect foil for bbq foods. Enticing aromas of smoke, vanilla, leather and juicy fruit. Ripe cherry flavours are well balanced with soft acidity and silky tannins. Medium to full body with a long fruit finish. Break this out for your next family gathering and burgers on the grill. Tasted August 29, 2017
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Rich and aromatic with a big juicy nose; full bodied, leveraging great acidity to accompany a myriad of foods. Aromas and flavours of black cherry, blackberry, smoke, spice, leather. Delicious.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Fantastic value and approachable Spanish Tempranillo, full bodied and well balanced. Blackberry, aged leather, plum, baking spices. Fine tannins, medium acidity, silky mouthfeel. Pairs well with braised beef, and with bbq steaks. Drinking well alone as well. Decanted 2h and tasted 2014 vintage in July 2017. 89 points.
Lynn Van Der Linde rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

An great value Tempranillo! Heady aromas of dark plums, leather, cedar and hints of floral notes carry through to a velvety cherry finish. Wonderful barbecue wine!
