From Northern Italy's Trentino wine region, the Pinot Grigio grapes for Mezzacorona's Cliffhanger white are grown on steep slopes of sedimentary calcium magnesium carbonate, better known as dolomite, soils giving this light-bodied, lean and dry Pinot Grigio herbed and fresh crunchy apple and pear flavours finishing with vibrant, mouth-watering acidity. Chill and enjoy now with all its freshness. Pair with Spaghetti alle Vongole.

Pinot Grigio food pairings: pan-fried panfish, seafood Alfredo, green salads.

Reviews and Ratings

Produced by Mezzacorona, Cliffhanger 2017 is a Pinot Grigio from the Alto Adige, Trentino wine region. Excellent value on this easy-to-drink and zesty white. The Pinot Grigio vines are planted on steeply sloped hillsides outside of Trentino and the wine is bone-dry, lightly-herbed, crunchy and lean. Pair with grilled pork chops. - Community Wine Reviews
