Good value in this medium-bodied Chilean Chardonnay from Santa Rita with green apple and toasty oak. The vineyards are planted close to the Pacific Ocean in Chile which moderates both daytime and nighttime temperatures.

Chardonnay food pairings: lobster in butter sauce, beef bourguignon, gougère, pork tenderloin, steamed mahi mahi with lime, garlic and chilies.

Reviews and Ratings

This Chilean white wine gets its Chardonnay grapes grown in vineyards planted in 1998. Maritime breezes moderate the wine region's day temperatures so the vines don't get too hot, or more importantly, the grapes. Fog in the morning couples with these oceanic winds keep the acidity fresh in the grapes. Pair with roast chicken. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
