Produced by Luis Duarte Vinhos, Lda. Rubrica 2017 is a dry, juicy and medium-plus-bodied red wine blend of 35% Alicante Bouschet, 18% Touriga Nacional, 15% Aragonez, 12% Syrah, 11% Petit Verdot and Tinta Miúda, aged for one month in French oak barrels (75% new). The wine is fragrant with aromas of ripe red berries, blackberries and raspberries, warming at 14.9% but balanced with a mouthful of fresh blackberry and raspberry, anise, clove, pepper and minty, flinty flavours on the palate with vibrant acidity for food. Drink or hold.

Food pairings: grilled game sausages, roast Cornish game hens, meat-lover's pizza.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
