Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

An elegant Pinot Gris with notes of melon, ripe pear and nutmeg on nose and palate. Satiny texture makes this a very sensuous PG. Enjoy with seafood. Will cellar up to 10 years.

Kristin Perrin rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

"Love me tender, love me sweet!"
Stone fruit, juicy melon, aromatic orange blossom, minerals - full bodied, mouth-coating yet refreshing acidity to follow and cleanse the palate, finishing dry. Pair with pork, poultries (perhaps with peach chutney!) or on it's own in the afternoon sunshine.
Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Described by its producer as vegan friendly, this medium bodied pinot gris is food friendly but can be enjoyed on its own. Expect to find fresh peach, melon and lime notes as well as pleasant touches of steely minerality. If you prefer to support wine producers who use sustainable farming practices, then hear this. This wine has been certified organic by Bio Gro, one of New Zealand's certifiers of organic produce and products.
Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

On the nose, juicy peach, cantaloupe, orange blossom and salt. On the palate, peach and citrus, mostly clementine. It has wonderful tartness. Perfect with a goat cheese salad.
Tasted at the Pure Discovery New Zealand Wine event in Ottawa May 2019.
