Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Aromas of plum, raspberry, dried herbs and a hint of mocha. Medium bodied on the palate, with bright acidity, and light tannins, along with ripe berry notes, more smoky and dried herbaceous notes and a hint of black pepper. Enjoy with grilled pork or duck.
Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Velvety Merlot, as an accompaniment to pizza and beef dishes.
Aromas of dark cherry, chocolate, nutmeg and oak carry through to a spicy cherry finish. Medium+ body, balanced acidity and tannins.
Enjoy now or cellar for another 3-5 years.
Tasted June 2021.
Elegant and complex, aged in French oak barrels for 6 months. Notes of baking spices, black currant and dark chocolate. Fruit forward palate with smooth tannins and a balanced acidity. Suggested food pairings: grilled or roast beef, pasta dishes with tomato-based sauces, cheeses include blue, cheddar and gorgonzola
