Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:
The Classic tier offering from Henry of Pelham seems to always deliver great value. This Cabernet-Merlot blend combines Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Aromas include currants, berries and plum along with a warm, spicy note. Nice body on the palate, fruit forward with nice smoky and spicy undertones. Enjoy with grilled pork tenderloin, or, sausage pasta.
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:
An easy-going Cab-Merlot blend from the Classic Tier. Raspberry and blueberry flavours and mild aromas, with Cab Franc taking the lead role and lending a slight vegetal aspect and touch of smoke.
A bargain red for those evenings when you want wine to accompany a beef stir-fry or burgers.

Your basic Cab-Merlot from Henry of Pelham - it has a higher proportion of Merlot than the two higher tiers (estate and family reserve), so you get a lovely plummy-cherry character with a bit of mocha, spice and a herbal note (there is some Cab Franc). Very nicely done and a great price.
Dianne Sheridan - Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:
Very fruit forward, aged in American and French Oak. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Nicely crafted wine for the price point. On the nose, cherry, plum, black pepper and spice. On the palate, a medium, smooth fruit forward finish.
