This is the best of this year's Beaujolais Nouveau wines, and it's no surprise that it comes from George duBoeuf, known as the King of Beaujolais. Aromas of tart cherry and mouth-watering berries. Smooth and medium-bodied.

Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Folks, it's that time of the year - Beaujolais Nouveau time! "We" celebrate it for its novelty and that's about it, right? Or wrong? The 2016 Georges Deboeuf Beaujolais-Villages Nouveau showcases a nice balance of ripe cherry and raspberry fruit, moderate acidity and clean finish. Enjoy now, no ageing necessary. Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This year's offering from the "King of Beaujolais", Georges DuBoeuf, shows characteristic grapey ripe berries and sweet spice, in a dry, light-bodied red. Beaujolais celebrates the end of the harvest for food and wine, definitely something to celebrate! Enjoy soon with a charcuterie platter.

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

This wine from Georges Duboeuf Winery is a medium - bodied juicy red fruit, cherry, mouthwatering Beaujolais nouveau 2016. Continuing the storied tradition of quick-release red, offering typicity of the carbonic macerated Gamay varietal. Released world-wide Nov 17 th. Rated 87/100
