Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Tasted 2007 vintage in 2015. This wine is high acidity, brilliant and platinum coloured. This wine is delicate on the nose and palate prominently featuring crisp green apple, with hints of stone fruit, citrus zest and features a dry and crisp mouthfeel. This wine is wonderful for lightly cooked white fish, seafood featuring crustaceans. Fruit is light, acidity high, slightly less balanced yet fruit is well integrated and wine highly structured. Recommend drink 2015.
Sourced from one of the most prestigious sites in Alsace, this Grand Cru wine lives up to its pedigree. Notes of honey, mineral, white peach and some petrol on the nose. The palate is dry, medium bodied with echoes of the minerality and honey, along with apple and apricot. Concentrated and vibrant with crisp acidity and very good length. An excellent wine. There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
