Domaine La Haute Févrie, Muscadet Sèvre Et Maine 2020 is great value under $16. Produced by Sébastien Branger from the Loire, this is a bone-dry, medium-plus-bodied, vibrant Melon de Bourgogne white wine with grapes hand-harvested from 35-plus-year-old vines. The wine overdelivers and is rich and textured with ripe apple, pear, citrus curd and a leesy mineral bite. Chill and enjoy with freshly steamed shellfish dishes.

Muscadet Sèvre et Maine Sur Lie food pairings: garden salad, crab legs, salmon patties.

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A crisp and lively Muscadet with aromas of peach, melon, wet rocky stones and chives. On the palate oodles of citrus, green apple and mouth watering salinity. An organically made and produced food friendly sipper. Perfect for seafood, steamed mussels or fish grilled with fresh herbs.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Light, fresh, and pretty. Aromas of pear, green apple and subtle green herbs. Crisp, with vibrant, mouthwatering acidity on the palate and a clean citrus finish. Enjoy with any shellfish.
