Chateau Ste. Michelle 2021 Chardonnay is produced from 100% Chardonnay sourced from select sites throughout the Columbia Valley wine region. Interestingly, during the summer, Columbia Valley sees about two more hours of sunlight per day than California, allowing for fully ripened fruit, particularly for this warm 2021 vintage. Nights were cool, so grapes were able to maintain their fruit freshness and acidity giving fresh and vibrant apple, pear and citrusy flavours with some tropical fruit, vanilla and well-integrated oak spice notes to the wine. Chateau Ste Michele is the oldest winery in Washington and dates back to 1912.

Chardonnay food pairings: grilled chicken, pan-fried tempura shellfish, crab cakes, pork riblets.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
