This odd little duck is a sweet sparkling red wine. It's got pleasant aromas of raspberries and would go very well with dark chocolate as an afer-dinner drink. Very festive colour.

Sean O'Regan - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Dec 23, 2014: This is a wine that most people won't recognize and pass by, which is a shame. This sweet sparkling wine from Piemonte, Italy can make an outstanding food pairing. Cranberry in colour, with a nice froth and flavors of raspberry, pomegranate and a floral note made this a fantastic pairing with stilton cheesecake with strawberry, raspberry and blueberry in a pomegranate reduction. The flavors compliment the compote while the fizz lightens the dessert by cutting through the richness and readies the next bite. Worth a look for a holiday dessert course to wow the crowd.
Aromas of rosewater, strawberry and cherry blossoms. The palate is amazing - light and frothy, sweet and fun, flavourful and pretty. The floral component gives the whole experience some added flair. Sip, or enjoy with fresh fruit or pastries. If ever a wine should be on Facebook, this is it: one taste and we are certain that you will Friend, Like and Share. There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
