Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This Malbec boasts pronounced aromas from ripe black tree fruit (cherry, cassis, & plum), mint leaves and cedar, while the palate shows an added element smoke and sweet spice. It's undeniably rich and robust! The high acidity, balanced by ripe smooth tannins makes it a fine wine to enjoy now with hickory or mesquite bbq. Enjoyed for #MalbecWorldDay 2016. @sommsosa @bespoketastings
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby with a purple hue colour hints at the rich fullness in the glass. There's no shortage of blueberry notes in this 100% Malbec from Argentina. The nose wafts with blueberry pie while the palate brings wild blueberries. Cassis, cedar, smoke and vanilla round out the aromas and flavours. Good acid to fruit ratio and youthful tannins. Enjoy now with a nice cut of red meat - salted and charred. I'd like to try this one in 3 years time.
Tasted: Sept 2015
The winery focuses on low yielding Malbec grapes that are hand harvested with low intervention from the winemaker. Finishes with black cherry and spice. - Community Wine Reviews
