In 1993, the inspiration of Hernán Gras, who has a brilliant winemaking trajectory in Canada, along with the entrepreneurial vision of his brother Eduardo and Hartwig's pragmatic businesses view, who comes from a winemaking family and who in addition has strong bonds with Colchagua, joined together to give to life to Viña MontGras, the first project of MontGras Properties.

The vineyards of MontGras, located in the VI Region of Chile , specifically in the locality of Palmilla, Colchagua, reflects the professionalism, dedication and the desire to do things right that have always characterized its owners.

Prove of that, are the great amount of international prizes that have recognized the professional work, the constant quality and the innovation of MontGras wines, always counting with point technology in all its processes, set out from its conception to be the winery with the best premium wine from Chile.

To be leaders in this matter, people that work in MontGras have been key. As Hernán Gras, Chairman of the Board says, "Although we count on the equipment and the technology, it is definitively our people that make the difference. To create a wine is a true art in which all the senses are used."

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Eric Asimov, The New York Times

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.

Gary Vaynerchuck, Wine Library TV
