After a careful study and the assistance of a well know viticulturist the Bereron Family selected land on North Shore of the BAY of Quite River. The vineyards facing the Eastern side of Prince Edward County in Ontario. As they wanted to specialize in Red French (Pinot Noir & Gamay Noir their search include soil analysis.

Having Lindsay Clay soils with Limestone just 3 to 5 feet underneath and located in a very historical part of this region contributed to our decision. The property also has a very gentle slope down to the lake which made them chose concrete.

Unquenchable: A Tipsy Search

  Best Books of the Year

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
