It all started with our love for wine. Then, we started making it—first to see if we could and later to meet the demand we had created among our family and friends. About 5 years ago, we started making wine together, and our quantities just kept growing.

Finally, we decided to take a leap of faith and start a commercial winery. We got buy-in from our wives, Marlene Feist and Dana Trabun. Dana became so excited about the idea that she enrolled in WSU's Professional Enology Certificate program, a two-year program focusing on the science (and art) of winemaking. She completed the program in December 2009, and continues to bring us some great new ideas and lots of enthusiasm.

What’s our wine-making philosophy? Start with excellent grapes, picked at just the right time to provide the perfect combination of sugar and acidity. Process them with care. And then wait to ensure optimal results that meet our standards—and yours.

We’ve started small to put our personal touch on everything we make. We believe you will taste the attention we have given to each and every bottle.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
