White Wine

Clay Station Unoaked Viognier 2012, Lodi, California, United States: The Lodi region in California offers a terrific climate and soils for Viognier, especially of the floral, highly aromatic style like this one. Bursting with notes of Asian pear, apple blossom and wild white field flowers. Lovely white floral notes with some peach. Medium-bodied and mouth-watering. Crisp, dry finish. Perfect for Asian dishes. Pair with: medium curries, spiced dishes, grilled lake fish, pork. Drink: 2014-2017. 25411 13.50% D 750 mL  $16.95 Score: 88/100. June 7, 2014 Best Value White Wine.
