Calona Vineyards Artist Series Unoaked Chardonnay 2006, Okanagan, B.C. V.Q.A., Canada: I'm usually not a fan of unoaked chardonnay, but this one is excellent. Red Rooster Riesling 2006, Okanagan, B.C., Canada: What a pretty wine! This riesling underwent cold fermentation in stainless steel tanks to maximize the fruit character. Greg Norman Lake County Zinfandel 2003, California, USA: This full-bodied wine spent six months in small oak barrels that were 50% new American oak and 50% seasoned French.
