Red Wine

Burrowing Owl Estate Winery Pinot Noir 2010, V.Q.A., Okanagan Valley, BC, Canada: Liquid satin in a glass. Fleshy field cherries with a luxuriously smooth texture. Not heavy yet so full of character. Extremely elegant and versatile with many dishes. Lovely rich dark cherry aromas of the nose unfold to dark plum and some dried herbs on the palate. Full-bodied for pinot, yet balanced and elegant. Concentrated flavours with a long finish. Polished tannins and elegant structure. Great craftsmanship here. Pair with planked salmon or grilled tuna. One of Canada's best.
