White Wine

Pfaff Pinot Gris 2012, Alsace A.O.C., France: Soft, floral and light- to medium-bodied. Lovely mouth-filling texture. Redolent of apricot and peach blossom. Peach and pear delight! Good balancing acidity. Lovely food wine. Perfect for sushi. Try this zesty French white wine with fresh fish and cream sauce pasta. Drink: 2012-2015. 362087 13.50% MD 750 mL  $13.80 Score: 88/100. Red Wine

Volcanes Summit Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon Syrah 2012, Rapel Valley, Chile: Full-bodied with blackberry liqueur aromas, flavours and concentration. Supple and smooth and dying to muscle in beside a juicy, rare steak. Drink: 2013-2015. 350553 14.20% D 750 mL  $10.95 Score: 87/100.
