Peller Estates Private Reserve Riesling 2008, V.Q.A., Niagara, Ontario, Canada: A lovely light-bodied white sipper with generous notes of lime, lemongrass, white peach and melon. Red Wine

Ruffino Fonte Al Sole Sangiovese Cabernet Sauvignon 2008, Tuscany, Italy: The grapes are grown in sun-drenched Tuscany. Sole means "sourced from the sun." Lovely berry ripeness with a tangy finish. A blend of 95% Sangiovese and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon to produce a medium-bodied supple wine. Terrific value for the money.
