Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc 2013, Marlborough, New Zealand: Zesty and fresh with a lime-lemon lift. More citrus than grassy with some herbal underlay. Winemaker Anthony says he blend different parcels of the grapes as they do in Champagne style. Good tomato leaf and minerality on the finish. Part of Vintages Essentials. Inglenook Rubicon Cabernet Sauvignon 2009, Rutherford, Napa Valley, California, United States: A full-bodied cabernet with classic aromas of cassis, blackcurrant and vanilla smoke.
