Arboleda Errázuriz Syrah 2007, Chile: Smoky black plums with a gorgeous mocha-rich, full-bodied texture. Not sweet fruit like shiraz, more European style. This wine received 12 months of new French oak aging. At $1000 per barrel, that’s quite an investment. This winery was the first winery in Chile to produce Syrah in 1986.
