Values Wine Picks April 22, 2008

Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: July 12, May 14, November 15 and October 16.

White Wine

Muscat, Ca' Del Solo Vineyard, Monterey County 2007, Santa Cruz, United States: 93% moscato giallo and 7% loureiro grapes. A medium-bodied, slightly off-dry white with lovely notes of orange blossom and melon. Pair with: chili peppers, ginger, cumin, curry leaf or cardamon such as asian dishes. 80012 12% D 750 mL  $17.00 Score: 89/100. April 22, 2008 Full Review Add to: Shopping List Cellar
