Mouth-watering notes of lime and green melon. A soft, fragrant Riesling that's lovely as an aperitif or varsatile food companion. Some light floral notes on the finish. Terrific balance.

Riesling food pairings: rich Alsace cuisine, sushi, sashimi, fresh water fish, shellfish and seafood. Can handle dishes with a bit of heat and works well with pan-Asian flavours..

Reviews and Ratings

At the picturesque winery in the town of Barr, vignerons Anne-Catherine and Jean-Luc Ostertag lovingly craft local fruit into some of Alsace’s best wines. Willm produces wine from all of the noble grape varieties of Alsace but it is the aristocratic Riesling that exemplifies the style of wine produced in the Bas-Rhine. The winemaking is simple and honest with a minimal amount of intervention. Long, cool stainless steel fermentation helps to maintain bright, focused fruit and lovely aromatics. Willm Riesling Réserve is finished with a screw cap to help preserve the fresh, lively character of the wine.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
