Vintages Wine Panel: At the 2010 Sydney International Wine Competition, this wine was also named one of the Top 100 Wines of the whole competition. My note: Minty and dark-berried. Fleshy and full-bodied. Top me up, would you please? Food matches: stuffed eye fillet of beef on carrot puree with broad beans.

A pretty wine ... On the palate it was well balanced. The acid and the tannin were in check with the amount of fruit. A very long finish. It seemed to do extremely well with food. This smoky, rich, meaty taste developed and extended the finish on the wine making it even longer and more savoury. It was one of my favourite matches of the entire competition.
