One of my favorites!
The Taylor family has been producing expressive wines in Clare Valley for over forty years. Known as Taylor’s in Australia, the winery exports under the Wakefield name to avoid confusion with the famous Port producer. This classic, Gold-Medal winning Clare Valley Cab reveals loads of blackberry, redcurrant and cassis with a touch of mint. It’s dry, medium bodied and nicely structured with soft tannins and a lengthy finish. Great value for its complexity and elegance. In an undated review, winestate.com.au gave this wine a score of 4 (out of 5). Source: Vintages Wine Panel
