These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. This delicious wine from Roaix – another promising Southern Rhône village – displays aromas of plum, garrigue (the distinctive herb-based scent found in the south of France), tobacco leaf and a hint of wild game.
