Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: Canadian winemaker Pascal Marchand is the team leader and executive winemaker at Veranda. After establishing an illustrious career in France, Marchand assisted the Boisset family of Burgundy and Viñedos y Bodegas Córpora of Chile to establish this joint venture, Viña Veranda. This delectable blend of Cabernet and Carménère features black cherry, cassis, and plum as well as notes of tobacco, spice and mineral. My note: A supple, full-bodied red with black plums, mocha and smoke. Food matches: herbed roasted leg of lamb.
