Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
Drink Wine and Giggle Gals rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

On April 13 2013 the Drink Wine and Giggle Gals enjoyed "OPRAH LIVE!" at Copps Coliseum. During her show, Oprah shared her preference for merlot. Many times. Based on Oprah's tremendous retail influence, we would expect a run on merlot at local LCBOs in the coming weeks, but the Drink Wine and Giggle Gals were content to go to the Sheraton Hamilton hotel bar and order the closest thing to merlot they had--Two Oceans Cab Merlot. Deb nailed it when she said, "Not bad...but this will taste a lot better by the third glass." Two Oceans Cab Merlot is lightweight but fun, like Dr Oz talking about the surprising five most flatulent food groups. (unfortunately, red wine is one of them.) While we sipped our merlot blend, Oprah returned from her show to a loud lobby chorus of OP-RAH! OP-RAH! Hope Oprah brought her own stash of merlot on her private jet as Two Oceans Cab Merlot probably wouldn't do it for her...
Holly Bruns rated this wine as 80/100 with the following review:

Deep aromas of earth, cedar and nutmeg with some plum and black currant fruit. The finish is quite fruity and nicely balanced with soft tannins and just a hint of sweetness.
