Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: March 7, January 4, December 16 and November 20.

Tasting note:

Strawberry aromas on the nose and dry, refreshing on the palate. Crisp and lively. A blend of chardonnay (56%), pinot noir (19%), muscat (12%), cabernet franc (7%) and merlot (5%). Food matches: grilled salmon, roasted ham, fresh strawberry and goat cheese salad or spicy Asian dishes.

Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
The fresh fruity flavours of a white with the slight tannic effect of a red. What a wonderful combination. The first sniff offers a combination of gooseberry and floral notes. Take a sip and you will find an overall impression of fresh summer berries joined with the slightest hint of rhubarb and peach cobbler. A slightly off-dry wine ready for chilling on the patio.
