Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: Toasted Head takes its name from the practice of toasting the tops and bottoms of barrels as well as the staves. The extra toasting gives these wines extra vanilla and smoky character. This big, round, mouth-filling Merlot features black cherry and raspberry aromas with spice and licorice tones. The palate is dry and superbly balanced. My note: Smooth, juicy and tasty, with ripe dark field berries and plums. Perfect for pizza night. Food matches: lamb, beef, chicken kebabs, pizza.
