Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: May 22, March 7, January 4 and December 16.

Tasting note:

A lovely rosé bursting with fresh, summer-ripe field raspberries. Terific aperitif or refreshing companion to many dishes. Food matches: baguettes with pate, dungeness crab, lentil salad.

Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
This is the first vintage of Rosé that Sandra Oldfield has made and it was done covertly in the wee hours of the morning. It consists 46% Merlot, 46% Cabernet Franc, and 8% Pinot Gris. This Rosé was produced using the Saignee method, or bleeding of the vats. This means that after crushing, the grapes went into the tank and shortly afterwards the juice was drained off its skins for fermentation in 4 stainless steel barrels. The Cabernet Franc
juice had 24 hours of skin contact time while the Merlot had only six hours. Once in the stainless steel barrels, the wine went through cold fermentation. After fermentation, the barrels were racked and topped up with Pinot Gris then blended together before bottling.
