Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
 | This vintage of Merlot has grapes from our vineyards on the Black Sage Bench (Diamondback Vineyard) and the Golden Mile Bench (Tinhorn Creek Vineyard). This 2009 Merlot was cold soaked for three days before fermentation. After fermenting the wine to a dry style, it was placed in new to three year old French and American oak barrels for 12 months. Each lot was kept separate throughout the winemaking process. |
