Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
 | Owners David and Cheryl Clarke (née Thorn) have deep roots in the Barossa. In fact, the Thorn family have been growing grapes here since the 1870s. The latest vintage of the always impressive Shotfire Shiraz was aged for 14-16 months in a combination of American/French oak (40% new). This rich and flavorful Shiraz is packed with blackberry, blueberry, smoke and spicy notes. Intense but well-balanced, it’s a fabulous value that should be enjoyed over the next five years. |
