In your glass, the Berry Box wine is a dark red, with a nose that reminds you of raspberry and blackberry. On the palate, you will pick up all of Berry Box fruity flavours that it has to offer. The tannins are moderate, bringing forth a slight sweetness of the berry flavours, coupled with a light to medium finish.

The elaborate blend here is Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot. Snazzy names and uber-friendly and tasty wines – and all this within only a couple of years of winemaker David Finlayson going solo! This says everything you’re going to taste, but don’t worry about it being too fruity – it’s got enough elegance and class to more than hold its own. Source: Cathy Marston, food24.com
