Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: This wine is a terrific value from one of the newer faces on the Chilean scene. Master winemaker Oscar Salas worked as the assistant winemaker at Terra Andina before taking the reins with the 2008 vintage. This intense Carmenère features dark berry fruit, plum, spice and cedar notes. Dry, with ripe mixed-berry flavors and a soft texture. My note: Staggeringly great value for the money! Succulently rich blackberries and black raspberries, smoke and cedar. Bring it on, again and again! Food matches: smoky grilled back ribs, lamb chops.
