Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: March 7, January 4, December 16 and November 20.

Tasting note:

This luscious wine was barrel-fermented and aged 12 months in French oak. It offers seductive aromas of green apple, Asian pear, baking spices, toasted bread. It is medium- to full-bodied, elegant, fresh and crisp. Food matches: cheese, salads, fish and seafood, and poultry are all possiblities with this wine. Try topping a salad with grilled chicken, or baking a fillet of trout and serve on a bed of herbed rice.

Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
This is mid weight, nicely textured and brimming with charm and flavour. Sweet vanilla, spiced tropical fruit and nutty wisps on the nose, it delivers a well-balanced, crisp and refreshing mouthful of green apple, ripe pear along with mouthwatering lemon and lime citrus. It finishes in a lengthy blaze of lip-smacking flavour with nutty, oaky nuances and pours well. Score: 4 (out of 5) VH

Serve this wine between 55-60 degrees Farenheit or 12-16 degrees Celsius. Tip: If your bottle is at room temperature, put it in ice water for about 30 minutes or in the fridge for about three hours to chill it.
